Love clothes, fashion and the history behind them. The greatest form of expression alongside music.

P + Igali = Pigalle?

Insane jacket from the brand that hilariously sounds like a mix of my first and last name, Pigalle. I love the cuts and color blocking, It’s like a fly Kick Ass costume (the movie lmao). Great Autumn 22 piece. 🔥

Vest God

One of the many names I go by is the Vest God. Vests are such a layering cheat code and a cool one can set your fit all the way off or even act as THE statement piece. Here’s a fire one I’m working on. Tactical of course but fit and sleek. More than likely going to be a rip stop nylon, neoprene or a polyester blend of some kind. I can’t wait to get this out for y’all.

Timeless pieces
Timeless pieces

I think a major thing for me is I have a huge focus on creating things that surpass trends or what’s in right now. Every time I shop for a piece of clothing I buy it with the intention to potentially being able to wear it at any point, year after year. That requires two things, great quality and a style that is timeless. I don’t think you should expect anything less from what I create, in fact my goal is to exceed in both facets in regards to what I release.

If I made it it’s a piece of me.
If I made it it’s a piece of me.

Everything I do creatively is an expression of myself. If there is a finished product from me on the table it is literally a piece of me and I always integrate aspects of my life, how I’m feeling, or my thoughts into my work. Everything about who I am or what I’m about it can all be seen through what I produce creatively.

Winter looks

You’ll see me in 2 kinds of looks in the winter. Either layered all the way up #driptaliban or wearing one fly ass jacket. Here’s a little inspo I’ve taken from.

Fashion in Africa
Fashion in Africa

Africa is often overlooked in pretty much every way when we often excel in them all, and fashion is a good example of that. Across the continent the love for style, fashion and textiles runs strong, from the perspective of the traditional or the modern/youthful, my people love their clothes and know how to put it on too. I encourage y’all to look in to more of Africa’s history in fashion and also to keep up with the current fashion scene. Here are a couple of fly mfs in Lagos. 🔥

I love gorp <3

Gorpcore is one of my favorite genres of fashion. Everything about running, hiking, climbing and tactical gear is so fly to me. Just the pure style itself too, not even like an exaggerated or overly fashionable way, just pure gorpcore. Never gonna miss.

Cool shirts
Cool shirts

Crazy I seen this JPG shirt and it reminded me of a shirt I already had and I couldn’t help but think that the JPG had to have been inspired those types of shirts, even though it technically is vintage too being from 03’ I think. After some research it tho looks like the style of tee I have began their production in the early 90s and from what I know they were pretty popular with people insinuating that they likely were inspired at least to some degree. Just an example of how even at the highest level your main inspiration are the things and people you encounter every day.
